Title: Songs For St. Patrick's Day
Post by: guitarfool2002 on March 17, 2021, 10:26:13 AM
For me it's this one at the top of the list every year, "If I Should Fall From Grace With God" by The Pogues, this version a live BBC recording from 1986:

And though it's not Christmas, this live performance from St. Patrick's Day 1988 of "Fairytale Of New York" with Kirsty MacColl is fantastic:

And a special shout-out to my friends who used to join me at Flann O'Briens pub in Boston for a *perfect* pint of Guinness back in the 90's, I'll never forget you guys or those great times, and we will always laugh at that perfect line spoken as a Flann's bartender kicked out a group of obnoxious frat boys who wandered into the wrong pub that night and were told "Come back when you learn how to drink, boys..." as they got shown the door.

Cheers!
