This latest version adds some "dits" and inexplicably buries Carl in the stack. It's been a while since I had listened to the track that came on my "Postcard from California" (I understand there were several versions on different prints), so when I heard this new thin, flat, dit-dit version I thought I should revisit Postcard. My Postcard version is about as brilliant as it could get, given the circumstances of recording and flying in Carl. Hate to say it, but the new 2.0 take sounds like something Mike would release...
