Vince is a great musician and super cool guy, but he didn't "nail" the song when it was done live. he's reading the lyrics from a prompter and gives the impression it's his first time ever seeing them. silly mistakes like mispronouncing the word "bow"

Yeah, with all dues respect, it's a difficult song to sing etc etc but those high parts are horrible IMO. He sounds OK in parts and seems to get a little better as the song goes on. Jimmy Webb tries his best but eh....not so good there either  ;D

His vocal on "Surf's Up" was okay, if a little wooden.  However his reading of "The Warmth of The Sun" was absolutely stellar.  Too bad he never did a proper cover of it.
