And dammit where they on fire those days, Brian's on point, the band is enthusiastic to the point I'm just listening with a bigger smile as the concert goes on. Title: Re: Wondermints with Brian in the early 2000s Post by: rab2591 on July 22, 2020, 05:10:43 AM It's amazing to think about how incredible the ride must have been for the Wondermints - to go from huge Beach Boys fans to becoming the backing band for Brian Wilson, then being praised by Paul McCartney, and then to backing The Beach Boys reunion tour. What an absolute dream come true. I'd be pinching myself daily seeing if it was all just a dream.

Yeah I definitely agree. The band sounded enthusiastic and it was before they started to play all the songs so damn slow. I would stretch the era to 2005 though. That live att Glastonbury (or was it reading?, don't remember now) is amazing as well! I mean his singing on Darlin' is flat and out of tune, but we love him so we forgive.
