Probably about March 1968. Marilyn is about to deliver in some outakes of her and Brian. THere may of been two sessions because the ones of Brian in the orange shirt have him looking a whole lot better then the pics in the coat.

I posed this question before, because I wanted to know if there were two shoots. There’s one set of pics where Brian is wearing a light brown jacket. The cover shot shows him and the others in different dress. Also, in the brown jacket pics Brian looks absolutely terrible, like he’s been crying or something. In the other shot he suddenly has his old glasses back on. Were they trying to improve his appearance?

There were a sheet of outtakes on ebay, including pics of Brian and Marilyn. I bid but lost. Local resident “Smiley” used to have one of the shots as his avatar, I believe….

Brian looks ok in one or  two of the brown Jacket outakes but yes his eyes look puffy and his double chin is bad in most of the pics. The ones with the orange shirt though have him looking about 10 pounds thinner and much healthier. I have the ebay contact sheets on my cpu but they are small and have ebay watermarks.

Thanks guys. The album cover shot always looked like "pet sounds" brian to me.

Brian actually changed the least after Pet Sounds until 72 or 73.

Yes me too. He looked like that it seems up to '68 and then 1970 - 71.
