Title: Motet arr. for Guitar ensemble - Tu Es Petrus
Post by: Joshilyn Hoisington on March 11, 2020, 03:24:37 PM
I do other people's music besides our mutually beloved Boys.

This is a Byrd Motet arranged for a sextet of guitars and mandolins.

JH, it's good to remind the world now and again that you're not just a Beach Boys nut! :lol

Dean, you should check out aeijtzsche's Mandostang renditions of the French opening sections of Handel's overtures just a few topics down in this section of the forum. If you'd rather pick out just a few tracks, you might scroll down through the SoundCloud page to "Poro", "Il pastor", "Orlando", "Ariodante" and the almost heavy-metal version of "Messiah". But it's all wonderful stuff. ::)
