Mike McCartney's McGear album to see an expanded release. I'm so pleased to see this happen. I love this album.

I'd been eyeing this recommendation for a couple of days and finally took the plunge. I remember McGear from his work with The Scaffold but this is of another order. Joyous stuff, all of it. Thanks for the heads up, J.:=)

It's good.  I include cuts from it on my my Paul McCartney playlist and it just blends in. I bought this LP when it  first came out because Paul was on the cover.

This is for the OP. I sneaked a look at her posting history (no life!) and saw this was a favourite track of hers. ;)

That was my favourite track then Leave It!

I'm really looking forward to hearing the unreleased stuff, I've always wondered about the outtakes for this album.

I loved the cover, the humour of it.

The artwork was always a big part of a new LP for me.

I was trying to remember the first time I saw liner notes and lyrics included in an LP and think it was the Himself album by Gilbert O'Sullivan.

The release date has been pushed back until the end of July now ... I could crush a grape: - )
