And this morning Mr Dale's passing actually got a mention in the news bulletin on Dutch classical radio, an honour not bestowed on Peter Tork let alone Hal Blaine.

Dick Dale Post by: Gettin Hungry on March 18, 2019, 07:31:02 AM I saw him multiple times in Cleveland in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I recently found a copy "Surfer's Choice" on vinyl. I was thinking I should go see him next time he was in town. I dug out my threadbare "I'm a Dick Head" T-shirt to wear in his honor yesterday and played his records. What a loss.
