If I understand correctly, you also mean artists that came after the 50s and not 50s artists that recorded well into later decades?

Yes! Some of those early '60s "baroque" doo wop cuts would definitely fit the bill.

Doctor Feelgood (the UK band, not the US singer) did some great "pub" rock and roll in their day:
