I've always had a fondness for this album.

To me, the rap sections add a lot of character and I welcome them with open arms.

I think most of the songs here are great, but "So Here I Go Again" is my absolute favorite. Jan just sounds absolutely amazing here.

As far as the remakes, I'm not a big fan of the idea in general. That was one of the initial drawbacks of Brian Wilson's Imagination, but I ended up liking "Keep An Eye On Summer" and, even more, "Somewhere Quiet" from No Pier Pressure  But, I like the additions that Jan added to the four here. The one drawback are those extremely harsh synths at the beginning of "Dead Man's Curve." I don't find the remakes essential, but certainly enjoyable.
