It's OK, only about 5 chapters or so, more like an extended article.

For someone who doesn't know a lot about Holland (me), is it a good buy??

What happened to the guys who worked on doing an actual extended book about HOLLAND. Is it still a work in progress - anyone knows?

Itīs ok so far. Itīs not identical with the old little square book.
It has on ly 99 pages, but for the little cost itīs fine.

I read it, not bad at all. Only paid a little over $3 on Amazon Kindle to download. The author kind of elevates Holland to near-Smile status, especially from Sail On Sailor to Leaving This Town concept-wise. IIRC he feels Only With You, and I think Funky Pretty, are out of place conceptually.

I find this really curious, how someone could make a meta-connection out of Holland.  From one perspective, SOS is completely disjointed from the creative process of the rest of the album.  From a different one, there is a totally random 10 minute EP thrown in with it.  I guess I can see a seafaring theme with .... less than half the songs.... and you can make a weak argument that a 3 song suite about being homesick for California, that takes up a third of the album, can fit in with a bunch of songs about traveling the sea....
