That's great! I haven't heard the album yet but did read about it. The Hooker'n'Heat studio album is fantastic imo. How was the show in person? That's great! I haven't heard the album yet but did read about it. The Hooker'n'Heat studio album is fantastic imo. How was the show in person? John Lee was awesome. He sat in a chair and played/sung with passion! Sadly, this was post Alan Wilson. The Bear was in fine form vocally and wailed on the blues harp. The Chambers Brothers did a great rendition of “Time”. My brother and I had great seats; 7th row center. I believe that the talent of John Lee Hooker is much under appreciated. The man was a giant. It seems that the teamed up at Carnegie Hall in 1971 as well.
