i tried to watch it but when it got to goin to India with The Beatles i turned it off.. Mike has a script thats about 25 yrs yrs and runnin.. There is nothing new  to learn from him anymore.. The best thing i can say about Mike is he now over the last few years has put together the best version of his band.. Its NOT the Beach Boys but they do play and sing well.. I saw them summer of 2016 at Pala casino..  I was impressed.. Its not BW band but it will do..

I agree with the above comments....it's just become soooooo tiresome to hear the same old same old about India, the Beatles, etc....I also watched for a short time and shut it as soon as that part started. And I'd also be ok with his BB band, if he listed it as a tribute.

I love this photo from the press conference for the David Lynch Foundation show Mike did several years back (2009 I believe), where Paul and Ringo are standing behind Mike. You can tell from this photo without any other cues that Mike is almost certainly telling the "now, what you gotta do is go around Russia and talk about all the girls" story about "Back in the USSR." In other words, he'll tell the story for the millionth time even with McCartney standing right there:

Overall a positive interview, at one point he was asked what he remembered about the night of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and he went into a story about Mohammed Ali.

Also, did someone in The Beach Boys die in the 60s? Patrick says to Mike “the band survived the 60s.” And Mike replies “Well I don’t know how much of the band survived the 60s.”

I didn’t listen to the last couple minutes, so if there was a random line about curry thrown in I know not.
