Title: "Dexterized" Beatles Songs
Post by: petsoundsnola on July 14, 2016, 05:57:05 AM
I pulled out my Capitol Albums Vol. 1 set out of the archives this morning and re-listened to the terrible Dave Dexter remastered versions of She's a Woman and I Feel Fine.  Truly awful.

Does anyone know of a database/resource that would list Beatles songs tampered with by Dave and what exactly he did to each song?

This might be of some help. It's an interesting read, if nothing else:

I always thought that version of She's a Woman sounded better - the added reverb really adding a flavor to the song that enhances it. Minus the reverb, it's very sparse.
