The crazy thing is, a few days ago, before knowing of this article's impending existence, I was thinking of posing this exact same question to this board :) I wonder where The Boys got the apples they cut up for the shoot. Did one of them go to a supermarket, or was it perhaps an assistant? Can you imagine what the receipt for the apples would sell for today if it still existed? Or for that matter, a swath of one of the goat's fur? Twenty plus years ago, I met a famous animal celebrity, Buck the Dog from Married...With Children, when I attended a taping. I got to pet him when I saw him with his owner outside the studio right after the show. As I walked away from petting Buck, I thought to my teenaged self: if only I'd kept a few of Buck's dog hairs in my hand for posterity, the way Elvis or Beatle locks were socked away by barbers. Anyone know the status of Dennis' bag of Fritos? I was also thinking about that aggressive goat - I think he's the same one who climbed on the large turtle in the Zoo's archival photograph! I happened to be with him during the Pet Sounds EPK interview and he stopped at the big display of Pet Sounds in the Capitol hallway and started talking about how mean the white goat was.

The Bible talks about "separating the sheep from the goats" with the goats being the "bad". Poor guys - they can't help that they're goats. I enjoy watching the goats playing , hopping around etc. but every once in a while there will be that rogue goat such as the one who gave Al such a hard time. I'm hoping to have a couple of goats eventually, but they would have to be mini-goats. |
