Title: First Love by Mike Love remix question Post by: thetojo on May 15, 2016, 07:11:38 PM I never know if my questions warrant a separate topic or should be in the "insignificant questions" thread - anyway, I always just post to a new thread, since that way I figure more people are likely to become more informed by reading them, rather than ignoring an "insignificant" one.
With Mike going back to the studio, this got me thinking - so here goes - this 1978 unreleased album was "remixed" and shopped around again a while after initial attempts. My question is - What were the changes made, and does this result in 2 versions of the album, or really just a couple of tracks that were altered? Who did the remixing, when etc. would also fill in some of the blanks! Ie. any detail in answering is welcome. I also sense that one version is in much wider circulation than the other; I'm guessing even some hardcore collectors never went out of their way to seek out *two* different versions of "First Love."
