Title: The Blizzard of 2016 Post by: Douchepool on January 22, 2016, 04:28:20 PM Good luck to everyone in the Mid-Atlantic U.S. this weekend; we're looking at totals of more than two feet of snow in some cases. Everyone stay safe!

Got a generator, JIC?Title: Re: The Blizzard of 2016 Post by: Peter Reum on January 23, 2016, 08:25:35 PM Hope everyone has heat, water, food, something like candles in case the electricity fails, and a working phone. Here in Montana, where snow this heavy happens every winter, we add four wheel drive to the above stuff.

The weather down this way quite the opposite, and I was oblivious to Blizzard until I accidentally watched the news the other night. Mind blowing footage from DC & South Carolina. Despite total lack of communication, the City is doing a much better job than they did during the Blizzard(s) of 2010. I wasn't able to drive for over a week during that storm, but was able to today. Four of the six worst snowstorms in Baltimore history have occurred in the last 20 years. Where's our global warming? |
