Murphy mentions it in his book, Becoming the Beach Boys, 1961-1963. It was released as a single in August 1954 (King 1373); it also had a British release on Parlophone MSP 6132. Hmm ... George Martin was the assistant manager of Parlophone at the time. I wonder if he had anything to do with this record's release? |
