Some people, bullies generally, can dish it out but can't, as a rule, TAKE IT.

I ask the moderator to delete my threads and remove me from the membership of this board.

I am astounded at how far this has come. Can't we all just be adults? This is supposed to be a fun place to come and talk about the won-won-wonderful music these guys made. Let's keep picking up those good vibrations, and have fun, fun, fun!

Sorry, I know those puns were corny, but this is a place to escape and indulge in our BBs obsessions, and when things get negative, it's upsetting.

Nobody cares whether or not you ever post again.  Nobody would care if I ever posted again and I post here every day.  You might think calling out the horrible criminal actions of AGD (I kid, I kid) makes you hero of the internet but once again, nobody cares.  Your behavior is over-dramatic and it's annoying.  You're not the only one but by making this silly topic, you decided to call attention to yourself.  Nobody's forcing you to post anything here.  You don't need to ask for a ban, you can just stop posting altogether and find another way to spend your free time.  It's that simple!

I've always found you to be an interesting poster, but this message is so overly-dramatic and ironic. I ask you, who are the ones that "can't take it": the ones that stick around, or the ones that leave afterwards?

My 1 cent:  AGD used to be (sometimes) a bit harsh to anyone with less than a perfect knowledge of facts, etc.  But he has mellowed and perhaps taken on a more kindly approach.  I once was offended by him, but then I realized, "Who gives a crap?"  I have mellowed too, and find that not always being correct is okay, and being corrected for my incorrectness is okay too.  I am glad his approach has altered a bit, and I think this benefits what, really, he has been trying to do in calling out things he feels may not be right, which is to get the story/facts/history right.  I respect that, and I respect his efforts in all these areas - as well as other "scholar" types like him.   I have come to find his (sometimes) cantankerous deliveries amusing - nothing funnier than an angry old guy after all  ;D   Plus, he's a Brit and I love the Brits, I am part Brit myself (by way of Anglo familial roots on me pa's side.)  My last name is Phipps, for cryin' out loud - how much more Brit could that be?  Some of the best butlers there have been were named Phipps  :lol
Anyway, no "hate" at all, only, honestly, a deep affection and an appreciation of his (often) hard line - because inaccuracies about this band, one of our favorites, each and everyone of us (why else would we be here?) still persist and abound - and gosh darn it, that just ain't right.
