I'll agree that The Ventures get credit that other more deserving bands of that time should get.  I've heard people say that The Ventures made hits out of "Wipeout", "Pipeline", etc.  They may have recorded them, but that doesn't mean they should get credit as the original artists.

True...If simply for the awesome fuzz bass...or the induction of the use of Mosrite guitars...correct me if I'm wrong.
