We've all heard a chunk of NPP - Our Special Love, The Right Time, and Runaway Dancer + the previews + some Vegas clips. What do you all think of the album based off of what we've heard?

I figure since reviews are starting to come out this'll be a good place to post everything related to the albums reception.

My thoughts - every song seems like a distinct piece of art, and the album will work not because every song is cut from the same cloth, like Pet Sounds, but because every song is so different - every song will take you to a different musical world. Runaway Dancer really proved to me that some thing special is about to be released...only 2 more weeks!

Thought this would be a good place to gather all of the NPP related stuff in one place.

From what I've heard of this new material I love how diverse the songs are (bossa nova, electronica, classic 60s, that Hollens track is in a world of its own, somewhat country from the Musgraves track) yet how they all seem to flow in a cohesive manner.

The bass riffs are really sticking out to me as well....especially in Runaway Dancer and the a cappella Hollens track.

I keep listening to Sail Away over and over again. Sounds like classic Beach Boys to me. Makes me so happy that Brian is still in the studio making great songs.

Can't wait to hear this album in its entirety!
