Of course a lot of kids will just hammer out random clusters of notes so it's always nice when you see them think in terms of individual notes with attention towards how each note relates to what has come before and what has come after. She often closes her eyes when she's playing...I asked her why one day, and she told me that she feels like she 'goes inside' the music. |
