Rain does that. It is still very cold here in upstate New York. We have snow on the ground. I love winter, but I'm ready for spring to start.

I usually get two waves where I live. I have seen Western bluebirds around my place, though, which I've never seen before. It seems that birds sort of come and go. One year I got Stellar's jays, and they never came back. Birds must have conferences where they decide if they're going to try a new place to hang out for the year.
