Hi all,

Has anyone seen a robin so far this spring?  I haven't seen one yet.

I saw two robins this morning munching on worms coming up for air.  Rain does that.  It is still very cold here in upstate New York.  We have snow on the ground.  I love winter, but I'm ready for spring to start.

Weirdly, I thought this topic's about famous ice cream brand but then I remembered it's written with 2 "b". Anyway, I see this quickly turned into a general discussion of creatures we saw this spring. I didn't see nothing.

So I guess it means there is trouble 'til the robins come?

I don't see how they could do that.  I could never eat a bug.

I haven't seen robins this spring, but did see some in December when they were migrating. I usually get two waves where I live. I have seen Western bluebirds around my place, though, which I've never seen before. It seems that birds sort of come and go. One year I got Stellar's jays, and they never came back. Birds must have conferences where they decide if they're going to try a new place to hang out for the year.
