Title: "Coyote" - rab2591/Woodstock Original Song Post by: rab2591 on December 19, 2013, 09:54:14 PM Woodstock messaged me a few hours ago, mentioning interest in spontaneously recording a song. Here is the result. I wrote the chord progression and lousy lyrics in 10 minutes, spent the next couple hours recording. Woodstock is playing slide guitar, and bass. I’m playing acoustic guitar, keyboards, and I'm singing.

I liked the combination of (tasteful) slide & acoustic guitars + rain & space effects, together it gives a mystic & even frightening aura to the song. As a big horror fan, I cannot escape the idea that the song is about a lone werewolf. I know it's called "Coyote", so my hunch is obviously off-base. However, the lyrics don't match the title too. Luckily, I can filter out this stuff & simply enjoy the melody. In short, kudos to both of you! (And I thought rab sounds organic only with EgoHanger. Was I wrong.)
