I suspect Dennis, especially, would have enjoyed hitting the 69 mark.  ;)

Seriously though, I was so heartbroken when Dennis died. The Beach Boys had brought me so much joy through my life, I was truly a fanatic, and I saw his death as the end of the group. There were a lot of good times after his passing but it was certainly never the same.

Happy birthday, Dennis. Your music has touched me in a way no other artist's has

I love music, but, MAN...I have never been ass-kicked more than Dennis's songs and his raw emotion.

Just listened to the BBs Christmas album and Denny's voice-over is true and honest.

Speaking of, love his vocal on Morning Christmas. I basically overlooked the Ultimate Christmas collection, but when I heard Morning Christmas I was really taken aback. Some of his finest vocal work. The world is a lesser place without your musical contributions Dennis, but I know you have a babe on each arm up in heaven

Dennis was the man. Happy birthday.

Gosh where did 30 years go? Seems like yesterday that I sat stunned by the news on TV seeing his body being wheeled away on a stretcher.

With the 30th anniversary of Dennis' death coming near, I am even more thankful for all the stuff we got on MIC. Seems he finally got the recognition he deserves.
On december 28th I am gonna do a special tribute concert with my favourite Dennis songs, I hope this can help to show Dennis art to some more people.

You write like a bizarre granny. I mean, usually really old people give compliments for trivial things (here: typical Christmas speech said in a typical voice)... unless you weren't serious & it's an in-joke.

I know Dennis had Problems why did he have to drink vodka and Orange Juice before diving off a friends boat then drown.  Maybe Christine told him not to dive off and look for treasure that he threw  overboard from his boat in the past like the early 70's
