Title: A tribute to Brian
Post by: mr_oleary on June 27, 2013, 07:36:04 PM
I make psychedelic electronic music under the name 'Darnomite'. Just wanted to submit a tune that I wrote to pay tribute to BW. Hope you enjoy.

Hey, that's a nice little song.  I personally prefer a bit less noise/distortion, especially in the vocals.
Also, a nice keyboard line sort of a modern "Love You" sound.

Overall I think a straight forward vocal over the distorted keys would have presented a nice contrast...
and would have been more interesting for me.

Hey guys, I am planning on releasing my first EP and here is the first single: 'Grifting and Grooving'.  Sorry for the self-promotion but I am a HUGE beach boys fan so I figured maybe you guys would like the music.

to mypetsounds if I ever release that song again I will take your advice into consideration. Much appreciated.

I should clarify one point, when I said, " Also, a nice keyboard line sort of a modern "Love You"
sound", I meant that the song already has a nice Love You sound, not that you should add such a sound.
