Christmas 1963 or January 1964 release date where they would be able to have both their latest hit and up coming hit on the same album. This is assuming that all of the songs from SD2 were written and ready to record by late Autumn 1963. Also, I went with a 12 song tracklist. Hardly a chance in hell that Capitol would have went with more during that time frame.

That being said, SDV2 is something that I think could have been a lot stronger with a few cuts substituted. I'd imagine if the tracklist was something like;
