Title: Byrds MONO Mr Tambourine LP on SACD out now!!!
Post by: wind chime on March 01, 2006, 03:57:37 AM
Anyone going to pick this up? The original LP is mono while the same bonus tracks are stereo...I have a vinyl copy so maybe I'll wait until 5D or Notorious makes it as MONO SACD's....

this must have passed me by totally.
just had a quick look around for this and i dont know how easy this would be to find over here in the UK.

are there plans to release their other albums in this format?
wouldnt mind hearing a mono 5D.
could just buy a record player and buy the sundazed LPs but not having a record player is the only way to stop me spending way too much money on music.

dont know if i would track this one down as mr tambourine man / turn! turn! turn! is probably my least favourite byrds period.

I hope so...but I would rather they do 2fers of the MONO masters without the bonus tracks...MTM/TTT...5D YTY...Notorious/Sweetheart(not certain if the full lp had a true mono mix but there were some mono single mixes for about 4 or 6 tracks, plus some notorious mono single mixes...
