Title: The Guest Appearances Post by: Wylson on February 25, 2011, 01:57:01 PM In the event of a one-off reunion concert (I know probably won't happen >:() who are the additional musicians (living) who you think should/could either be in the band, or make special appearances? The ones that spring to mind:
- Van Dyke Parks - Mike Kowalski - Hal Blaine - Daryl Dragon (although not sure of his health?) - Jack Rieley (Day In Life...) - Blondie Chaplin - Ricky Fataar - Dean Torrence (I Get Around) - Glen Campbell - Matt Jardine - Jeff Foskett - Marilyn Wilson (!) - Justyn Wilson - Carl B Wilson Add your cast list! (btw I am assuming David Marks is in the band, before anyone has a heart attack) Title: Re: The Guest Appearances Post by: willy on February 25, 2011, 02:07:02 PM Did I read that Banana (or is it Louie) runs a real estate business over there in Pasadena.

Stanley Love Rocky Pamplin Tom Maule Chuck Manson Title: Re: The Guest Appearances Post by: Custom Machine on February 26, 2011, 01:36:15 PM Loren Schwarz Stanley Love Rocky Pamplin Tom Maule Chuck Manson Why is Tom Maule on your list? I've always wondered who initially refused to play Heroes and Villains, because it wasn't on the playlist, when Brain and company delivered it to KHJ radio in LA for a worldwide exclusive debut. Tom Maule was doing evenings on KHJ at the time, so he could have easily been the guy, but I've never heard any definitive confirmation as to whether it was Maule or another dj who was on the air when Brain and company arrived. Tom Maule was definitely a cool guy to listen to - a very upbeat and often acerbically witty top 40 personality. He passed away in 1993. I'd be really curious to know if it has been determined exactly if it was Maule or someone else who, given the opportunity for a worldwide exclusive, initially refused to play Heroes and Villains, telling Brian, "Sorry, can't play it, it's not on our playlist."
