Title: A question that may-MAY-upset somebody. Or not. Post by: A Million Units In Jan! on February 19, 2011, 01:38:27 PM Ok, so I just started checking out the website 'The Record Room'. Obviously, I know a couple of the posters from the old days, like the 2 Johns, a couple of other names. At any rate, I was reading a post on there and at one point they were talking about the Smiley board, although they made it sound like a bunch of idiots hang out there. And at one point, somebody made a point of calling the owner of this site 'a douche monkey'. Now, I thought that this site came from the original SMiLE shop. And that whoever took this over would be on good terms with the 2 Johns. It sounds, though, like this isn't the case at all. Was there some sort of falling out over anything? I used to be a frequent SMiLE shopper back in the day, and then fell out for quite awhile until a couple of years ago when I started coming to this board. So what's the history, if someone could fill me in?

I was on the 'Lil' Smiley Cabin' mailing list, which was like a yahoo! group. There wasn't anything special about it, just basically an extension of the SMiLE shop board.
