I for one wished I saw him live, He did so much for the Band and his brothers esp Brian, I'd don't know too much about the man would make for a interesting book??
R.I.P Carl

I have been watching you on youtube, you not only were good looking, but a great musician. I know who you are now, and will continue to get to know you. You and Denny are in heaven entertaining our lord and all the beautiful angels. Sing away...Wilson brothers. I will meet you both one day.

Best voice of the lot of 'em in my book, and in his later years a grace that the band misses to this day.

Raising a nice malt to you now.

Love him, miss him, celebrate him. One of the best, ever.

Carl was a true gentleman, a very generous man, gracious to the BB's fans, with a magnificent voice and a sharp sense of humor. Those who get a chance to meet his sons Jonah and Justyn will see a lot of him in them, not just in looks but also personality.

I did see his son's in youtube. They do look like him. They have to be so proud of their dad. Carl was amazing. I'm sure they have much of this skills in music and being the kind soul he was. They are lucky they had a wonderful father, im sorry they lost him, they are true wilson's all the way.

Such a heartbreaking loss  :'(  This world's definitely "a far lesser place" without him

It's kind of weird how you can never even meet somebody, but miss them like you do a family member.  :'(

I'm finding that out. It's a crazy feeling, never in my wildest dreams would I have felt this way.

All of those years  when Carl was the only Wilson on stage, he was the commanding presence and the clear leadman of the band.  Not a hotdog, not flashy, but a dignified and shining anchor.   No slight to Mike Love whose work has always had my appreciation.  Nor to Al or Bruce.  At concerts, my eyes seldom wondered from Carl on the stage.
And of course he had the voice of an angel and the ability to sing the phone directory if necessary.

Is there truly a recording of this?  I'd like to hear that.   :)

It's pretty good, but personally I found my interest started to wane round about the middle of the Gs.
