Of course, you've identified them, they're the Beach Boys, that you had seen this week in "Age Tendre et Tête de Bois". Usually, we can see and hear them as a band. Done me some sluething - Albert Reisner (or Raisner) was a harmonica player who also hosted the TV show Age Tendre et Tete du Bois, which the BB appeared on on 11/10/64, so the 11/15 date is either the air date, or an error. edit - wish people wouldn't write stuff here in a color that's almost impossible to read against dark gray... that's why I didn't see what I've just checked out has already been posted. According to AGD's site "Age Tendre..." was recorded on November 10 and the Paris gig was on November 18. Perhaps the boys were there twice and stayed a couple of days the 2nd time? Yes that was taped on their first visit to Paris on Nov 10 1964. Documents have turned up that allowed me to date this stuff better. That footage aired on a TV show called Au Dela De L'ecran. Very cool footage to see
Title: Re: The Beach Boys in Montmarte - November 15th, 1964 Post by: Ian on December 25, 2010, 10:10:27 AM Should point out for those that have my ESQ article that since writing that I have found evidence that the BBs taped a TV appearance in Rome on Nov 11 and in Munich on Nov 13. Hence we are able to more accurately date where the BBs were on the first trip in much greater detail. The updated info is on Bellagio (now hosted by ESQ). Earl Leaf wrote a number of articles about the tour and states that the BBs returned to Paris after leaving Germany and before Sweden. Hence-they taped the TV apps on Nov 10 and returned for the concert at the Olympia on Nov 18.
