Title: My First Vocal Track. Post by: TheManFromAnotherPlace on November 16, 2010, 06:28:25 AM Hi All.
A rough mix of my first vocal track, my collaboration with the excellent vocal group The Surf School Dropouts is now online. It definitely has a bit of BB influence - mainly the ‘darker’ BB stuff and Dennis’ music. It’s going to be the closing track on my debut album. You can hear ‘Where Have you Gone’ at various places online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFfzrQ-uOaY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFfzrQ-uOaY) http://www.myspace.com/themanfromanotherplace (http://www.myspace.com/themanfromanotherplace) http://www.facebook.com/themanfromanotherplace (http://www.facebook.com/themanfromanotherplace) http://www.themanfromanotherplace.com/ (http://www.themanfromanotherplace.com/) Also at The Surf School Dropouts MySpace http://www.myspace.com/surfschooldropouts (http://www.myspace.com/surfschooldropouts) All the best. We really enjoyed collaborating with the Man from Another Place on this song and are very pleased with the final result. We'd never had thought we'd end up singing on a song by a Scottish musician! - who subsequently pulled some strings and had the song played on German radio... :) Oh, the wonders of the internet! Anyone who hasn't checked out Dan's music yet, should head straight to his MySpace and have a listen. You're in for a treat. Martin / SSD Title: Re: My First Vocal Track. You should definitely check out their music if you haven't already, they are a bunch of talented guys! Dan. Title: Re: My First Vocal Track.
