Poor guy. Imagine all the Linda McCartney meals he's had to choke down in that room.

Why would Paul McCartney, a former member of The Beatles, have a collection of Beatles books?  ::)

Why would Paul McCartney, a former member of The Beatles, have a collection of Beatles books?  ::)

Maybe due to frequent rewriting of the Beatles history he had simply forgotten what had really happened?

Drop dead easy. The real Paul died long ago. His imposter just has to have a collection of Beatles books, to avoid embarrassment, and to prepare for in depth interviews. See: when you lie, you just have to remember everything, and that is darn hard.

( :o did I just prove that the famous myth is true? Seems I did...)

It was taken by a Globo TV reporter who interviewed him in Sussex.

At left, between the ring-bound book and 'The Beatles Story'.

Perhaps it's photoshopped in by someone? Steven Gaines?

Thus another clue. The book Heroes and Villains. Since the hero died and was replaced by the service of a villain. SIT YOU DOWN FATHER! REST YOU!

Funny, considering he and Linda burned Gaines and Peter Brown's The love you make :

"(...) We decided not to read it, but we heard things. We put the copy he (Brown) sent us in the fire and I photographed it as it burned, page by page."

(Linda, Playboy interview, 1984)
