Anybody here ever seen a ghost? Spent the night in a "haunted" house? Puked up ectoplasm? Been possessed? I went ghost hunting once. It was at my dorm in college. The attic was supposedly haunted by a girl named Wanda, who had been a student at some point back in the 50s. I forget all the details, but upon finding out she was pregnant she freaked out and hid herself away in the attic, where she subsequently gave birth and then died with her baby. There's still a chair up there, and a window, and if you go outside at night you are supposed to be able to see her silhouette sitting there, mournfully staring out into the darkness. I had one of the resident assistants let me into the attic one night when all of the students were away on vacation. I brought a chair, a flashlight, and a camcorder. For 30 minutes or so I sat in the dark with my chair facing hers, calling her name and videotaping the empty seat in front of me. So far as I could tell, nothing happened. When the RA unlocked the door to let me out (oh yeah, I had him lock me in), I went down to my room with the tape and watched it on the vcr with a couple friends. There was nothing unusual on the tape, but then...out of nowhere...my tv turned itself off. Never did it before, and I've never seen it happen since. And we've been going round saying banal things like 'the cookers nice' or 'nice sofa' and stuff. This was fine, until one day my flatmate said 'I'm glad it's not haunted.'
Bear in mind this girl studies popular music and i had to remind her the names of The Beatles. They'll let anyone into uni nowadays.... Still...if there's something "out there" I'd wanna know about it. Same with UFOs.
