Another New Low: 4.83 Million Albums Sold Last Week By Jake Brown September 15, 2010 How low can you go? According to Billboard, overall album sales totaled 4.83 million units (that's physical CDs plus digital album downloads) last week, which is the lowest it's been since SoundScan started tracking sales. Should we start taking bets on when it will stoop below four million? I predict March of 2011. 1. Sara Bareilles - "Kaleidoscope Heart" - 90,000 (debut) 2. Eminem - "Recovery" - 81,000 (down 12%; cume: 2.5 million) 3. "Now 35" - 63,000 (down 40%) 4. Katy Perry - "Teenage Dream" - 59,000 (down 33%) 5. Disturbed - "Asylum" - 57,000 (down 68%) 6. Stone Sour - "Audio Secrecy" - 46,000 (debut) 7. Interpol - "Interpol" - 38,000 (debut) 8. Justin Bieber - "My World 2.0" - 35,000 (up 14) 9.
