Some bits sound as if they start in the middle of a performance so I guess they at least played a little more than just the bits. But since it probably was really just a rehearsal they might as well recorded over those performances

Notice how Brian is singing the chorus hook in his by now established falsetto, which he wasn't yet using when the original was cut.

Yeah, I'd like to hear the longer OFRS in good quality, also. The longer version was originally planned for ASL, as evidenced by some early test pressings, but some of the "bits" were cut before release.
