OMG I awsted 5 dollars on these two discs brian couldnt sing with the beach boys in the sixties and its very sad to see him trying to sing now and his band is as bad as it gets where did he pick up these rejects? Brian was a drugged out loser who wanted to be as good as the beatles but couldnt shine their shoes as far as creativity goes he uses old cliches as mrs olearys cow and you are my sunshine are you kidding man hes terrible and so is heroes and villans and the rest GOD his high pitched notes are awful AND THIS GUYS A GENIUS? come on!Him and the beach boys were liked by the surf crowd but could never compare with the beatles , moody blues, wishbone ash, blue oyster cult and a million other bands so save your money even if your curious this is the worst performance ever and a lot of his music is copied the beach boys are washed up and brian is worse than that! HOW SAD!

This sounds kind of like Mike Love's Brian-directed rant on H&V. Maybe Brian (who presumably can't type) posted this just to mess with us.

"Yeah Brian you loser who never accomplished jack in your life, your singing in the '60s was crap and all you ever wrote were songs about surfing and excuse me while I pull my dick outta Paul McCartney's ass so I can walk over to the stereo and put on another great Wishbone Ash album..."  What a douche.

Not to spoil the fun, but...hasn't it since been found that Brian was actually the creative force behind Mike's rant???

Pretty sure the meaning was, directed by Brian: not directed at Brian

the beach boys were just one of many bands who got caught up with trying to top wishbone ash ... it's a pointless pursuit.

This guy seems to know as much about music as he does about how to use capital letters and commas.

That's what I meant by "Brian-directed."

The world will always have negative people, spending any time on them will do nothing but add to the negativity in your OWN life.

The good news is; you can walk away from this ignorance.  Unfortunately, he's stuck with it.

Wishbone who???

Thanks for the laugh, I really needed that! I remember a funny review on Amazon that somebody wrote while listening track by track to the 15BO/LY two-fer and that was equally hilarious. It has since been deleted but I did think to save it somewhere. I'll post it when I find it.

He's lucky, he paid 5 bucks, I paid much more. He would be much madder, if he paid what I paid.  ;D
But apparently he knows that he doesn't like BW in the first place, so why did he spend his valuable money on it? I wouldn't even spend 2 Dollars on this Wishbone band, because I know it's not my music. Poor fella.
He should watch the "Beautiful Dreamer" bonus disc, maybe he can learn... Ah, what the heck, wasted time...

He wanted that we're annoyed. Some are, most of us are amused.

Haha, yes, I for one am. This type of review is also seen on tech sites, e.g. http://www.audioreview.com. If a good brand (a Marantz CD player) gets the thumbs up from most buyers, there's often a hilarious rant from one person who pretends to have bought such a player, only to find out at home that instead of play CDs, it set fire to his living room, or gave him an electric shock, or whatever... just to able to give it zero stars, dock the average one or two stars, and see his name in the list on the net. Esp. if it is someone who cannot write at all, it's good for a big, fat laugh.
