Post by: Jay on August 04, 2010, 07:17:28 PM I wasn't really sure whether to post this question in the insignificant question thread or just start a new topic. My question is, when did Carl and Annie seperate? Carl seems to have been going through a rough time as far back as the 15 Big Ones album, and he seems to have hit "rock bottom" in Australia around March of 1978. I have always read that the major contributing factor to this was his seperation and divorce. But Andrew G Doe's website states that Carl and Annie didn't seperate until July of 1978.

Yup - the 1978 Australian/NZ tour marked the height of Carl's smack & booze habit, and he wasn't doing that just for the kicks. |
