Title: ghostly vocals of Carl and Denny (songs yet to be released)
Post by: punkinhead on July 27, 2010, 12:13:39 PM
Starting on GIOMH, we get a Carl vocal from Soul Searchin and Al gave us recently more Carl vocals on his Postcard album: California Feeling (I think) and Don't Fight the Sea. It seems the surviving members have made a nice habit of taking some older songs and re-dubbing and such to finally release some of these great tunes. Oh, and Mike finally released Brian's Back (with phenomenal Carl vocals)  on Endless Harmony (that released shortly after Carl died).

Am I missing any other tracks released?
Was the Like a Brother album released before or after Carl died?

What other tunes should the surviving members drag out and redo like Al and Brian have done?

Like a Brother was released after Carl's passing

What gives you the idea that Carl's on Alan's version of "CF" ?  Not listed in the credits, which figures as it's a new recording. If anything, it bears more of a resemblance to Brian's 1974 demo than the 1978 BB version.

OOPS!

That's why I put 'I think' in parentheses, because I haven't heard the album yet, I thought I read somewhere that he was on those vocals, but obviously I read wrong.
