Mike looks fine, and I think Bruce is just making an awkward face. I don't think it's a 'bad' photo at all.

Do people here really dislike Bruce? I can understand Mike has his pros and cons...but I think of Bruce as a really cool well rounded guy, by his presence in teh band and all of the interviews Ive seen.

I think if there's any part of the fanbase that doesn't like Bruce, it's people who don't like him by association with Mike.

Bruce is just doing his job, he's a paid employee of BRI. If the fans don't like that, I'm sure Bruce wouldn't care, he's the one with all the money.

Let me put it as nicely as possible. If its effects included a high of any sort, Brian Wilson used it. Ever heard the stories where he would drink 5 or 6 spoons of instant coffee in one gulp?

Don't see why this photo is worse than any of the other ones. Brian and Al don't look so hot either.

I think that's a pretty good picture of Mike.

A good friend of mine got to interview Bruce once after a show.  Bruce walked out when my buddy praised the 'Love You' album.  He's an ass.

In some of the chat  transcipts , Bruce came off as smarmy, and a bit of an ass.

the first thing that strikes me as odd is the surfboard- as if either of them have been surfing in the last 20 years. It almost doesn't look like a surfboard at all. Get a 9-5 board if surfin' is the look you're shootin' for. The 2nd thing is the airbrushing to peel off some years from Bruce & Mike. Maybe too much make up. Bruce's hair is dyed. They look like they're getting that transluscent skin that old people get. #3- Mike looks more like Terry Bradshaw- HAHA!! Bruce & Terry!!!!. #4- Bruce looks like he's had a stroke, not heart surgery. The photo... just... doesn't... look... right. Disturbing to me. They just look like wax figures.

If that's indeed Bruce on Male Ego and Beach Boys Britain, he still surfs. He probably doesn't go toes-on-the-nose, however.

Bruce is the only "Beachboy" with whom I've actually spent time or had a dialogue.
He was quite pleasant, took the time to chat, and actually excused himself, and returned several minutes later looking for me to give me a promo copy  of Happy Endings.  He did decline to take me or any of my Beachboys paraphernalia backstage for sigs by the others.  "You'd have to talk to them"

This really is not that bad a promo shot. I've seen a lot worse!!!  ;D

I like Mike, and yet I do not like many things he does. He had a right to his early nineties lawsuit where his credits were instated. His latest lawsuit, on the other hand, is nothing more than pure malice, IMO. He hated SMiLE for decades and now he wants a piece of it. Pure and simple.

Bruce seems a good guy. I like his posts a lot.

This photo reeks of bad botox.  Bruce looks like my grandmother dressed up as a man.

The reason why the photo looks so strange is because it was too heavily photoshopped by someone that's not extremely good at it. Especially Bruce's forehead and Mike's eyes look unnatural.
