Title: Al Jardine and Billy Hinsche at big East Coast rock music fan event this summer Post by: Emdeeh on June 15, 2010, 07:06:00 PM Message from Billy Hinsche:
"I'll be participating in the "Weekend of 100 Rock Stars" event that runs from July 30 - August 1, 2010 at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel & Conference Center in E. Rutherford, NJ, along with many of my friends including Tommy James, Little Anthony, Andy Kim, Ron Dante, and many more -- I hope to see you there." For more information on the Rock Con -- Rock 'n' Roll Fan Fest, go to http://www.nationalrockcon.com/ . Billy's page is at http://www.nationalrockcon.com/ArtistsDinoDesiBilly.htm . This event sounds really cool, like a rock/pop version of Nashville's Fan Fair. I can't make it (for family reasons), but maybe some of y'all can. I'm not too too far away either. My Dad would go nuts for this idea. Title: Re: Al Jardine and Billy Hinsche at big East Coast rock music fan event this summer Post by: Alex on June 19, 2010, 09:50:43 AM Of all the places to do it, they just had to have it in Jersey!! :thud :ahh

Title: Re: Al Jardine and Billy Hinsche at big East Coast rock music fan event this summer Post by: 37!ws on July 05, 2010, 10:31:42 AM Wow...how pathetic, really...it's basically a one-hit-wonder/has-been festival...
The 1910 Fruitgum Company -- that wasn't even a real band, IINM! "Bruce Kulick of Kiss" -- the fact that the "of Kiss" qualifier is necessary should tell you something. A SEVERELY Photoshopped modern-day Billy Hinsche inserted into a Blondie Chaplin-era Beach Boys pic??? Well...can't expect much from someone who expects $30 for a DVD of home movies... "Jefferson Airplane/Starship"??? Puh. (Yeah, just "Puh." This is so painfully pathetic that it doesn't even warrant a "leez.") Tom "T-Bone" Stankus -- so...which song will he perform? "Existential Blues" or "Existential Blues Part Too?" ? (And as Margarita said....Dino???) I'll just leave it at this, or else I'll be at my computer all day and forget to go to work. |
