Title: Sad news... Post by: Andrew G. Doe on April 30, 2010, 05:33:40 AM Just heard that Laurie Klobas passed away some two weeks ago. For those who don't know the name, she was a huge BB/BW fan who ran Break Away, Brian's fan club in the late 90s, and she ran it damn well (when she was allowed to: when she stepped down, it all went to sh*t). She was a great person, and a true friend to Brian when he sorely needed one. She will be greatly missed.

She did an astonishingly good job with the fan club, and it's clear she and Brian got along. I guess her departure from the inner circle was contentious, and I don't recall her interacting with fans after her departure, but I hope she knew how appreciated she was.
