Q. Speaking of the Beatles, the movie Across the Universe weaves a story around Beatles music, and “Mama Mia!” is all Abba music. What about a musical with Beach Boys music? M.L. Actually we’re working on a movie that would be done to Beach Boys music— a big Hollywood movie. That will be interesting. It should come to pass in the next year or two. In a way that I fear a Hollywood mainstream musical blockbuster will never be - which in all likelyhood will be a reflection of all the great Beach Boys hits and not of the Beach Boys as such(?) Maybe something like that could introduce the masses to something other then the same old. I like the fact that Feel Flows is on the ALMOST FAMOUS soundtrack. ORANGE COUNTY also has a nice sound track with some of Brian's solo material.
