I thought of a great mix that we're all curious about, the 1974-75 era of mystery...I didn't think of a title but I figure I could use the Caribou recordings as part (the songs we've heard), unreleased tunes (at the time) from the 1969-71 period, parts of the first proposed (rejected) single In Concert album, and parts of Beachago live album; which all would be chronologically correct, to build a double LP of all the Beach Boys involved to make a heck of an album...you're more than welcome to make your own mix with my idea...like I said, I couldn't think of a title.

I tried to make a Brian "solo" mix today. I included stuff he did with the Beach Boys that, to my ears, could've been snagged and released as a BW 45 without anyone really noticing...so it ends up being half and half. It's in chronological order, with total running time of 1:19:40. I guess the title could simply be "Brian".

I'd like to make one that makes it sound like a boot of a promo disc , in particular, a disc of Brother Records/Projects, like released after Wild Honey. The cover art is just a big Brother Records symbol in orange and black. I'd use everything from the few non-Beach Boys recordings and "future" Beach Boy release/projects. Once you see the tracklist, you'll understand where I'm going with this:

Anywho, my mix is a double album based off of the four seasons. each side represents a season (Autumn, Winter, etc). I put on each side whatever songs reminded me of that certain season: so my 'Spring' album is full of songs that remind me of the season of Spring (songs full of life), my 'Summer' album is composed of songs that remind me of summer (mostly songs related to the ocean), so on and so forth:
