My fiancee and I have yet to settle on a song choice to dance to at our wedding. However, I did manage to convince her to narrow it down to "Only With You" Holland version, or "Forever" acapella Hawthorne version. It's honestly a toss up from here.

"Only With You"seems to be the more tender, wedding dance type of song. But the acapella version of "Forever" certainly has its moments...

We can't decide, what do you fellow fanatics think?

If you go with the acapella "Forever", be sure to fade before Brian's shriek at the end.  ;D

Only With You -  but the live version that's "around". Far superior.

Though I'd ditch both and go with the disco version of Here Comes the Night -  it was made with dancing in mind.

I'd play Dennis' redone version from the POB/Bambu release, I enjoy it better

My vote would go to "Only with you" - Holland version. Don't think Dennis' re-cut was that good. Carl outsings him totally on that tune

I had made a mix when the POB reissue was new of the entire Holland version with the Dennis version added as a tag, kind of like the circulating live version. It was beautiful.  Computer had tanked, but I should make that again.

I personally dislike "Only With You" -- part of the reason probably is it's perfect for a wedding.

"Forever" though has more of a wedding-specific lyric: the forever thing and all that.

Eh, just go with "Vega-Tables".

No, seriously, "All I Wanna Do" (from Sunflower)...very romantic!
But, as a choice between the two you mentioned..."Only With You". 
"Forever" is, after all, a sad song (in the last verse, he sings about going away, although not forever, but still...)

Is your fiance's name Lynda perhaps ??? Lady Lynda would be perfect. Or what about Wouldn't It Be Nice...  What about a good clean mix of Dennis singing  " You Are So Beautiful " ???  I know it sounds tacky but that's what my then wife and I danced to, that was what I dedicated to her, while she dedicated a Garth Brooks song to me.

I thought the 2 options were"Only With You"or the  acapella version of "Forever"?

I'd suggest both. One for just the two of you and the other for all to join in.
