Title: Aren't You Glad cover Post by: the captain on January 20, 2010, 05:16:09 PM At least a year ago, I recorded the Beach Boys' "Aren't You Glad." In an apartment at the time, I didn't drum for it. (Well, a little quiet snare...) Today I drummed and remixed a little. As usual, I didn't go for a spot-on, note-perfect cover; I figured out the tune and then just played it how I wanted to, neither totally imitating nor reinventing. Just kinda playing. It's one of my favourites off Wild Honey (and I prefer the groovier version on Live in London) so it's good to hear this track in good stereo even if it is a cover.
