Female barbershop quartet Maxx Factor performed "God Only Knows", "Wouldn't It Be Nice", and "Good Vibrations". I didn't get to see it, but it should be on the NBC website tomorrow. Unfortunately, the group got cut that night.

I thought the ladies did a nice job...good song selection, and they are damn good harmony singers. Too bad they got cut, but there are some other talented groups on there as well.

Seriously, I give them a lot of credit for both the inventive backing vocals and the fact that they kept the medley in the context of Beach Boys recordings from 1966 (that counts for something in my book). I think WIBN is one of the more challenging leads and GOK is not far behind.
