Title: R.E.M. Live at the Olympia
Post by: Amy B. on October 28, 2009, 03:04:01 PM
R.E.M. has just released Live at the Olympia, recorded over five nights of "rehearsals" in front of an audience in Dublin. I haven't had a chance to get the album yet, but I've been listening to it streaming from NPR. It is VERY cool. I almost forgot how many great songs they have. Right now I especially like Letter Never Sent.

They took down the streaming... damn it! But it's an excellent album.

I listened to the stream and saw some clips on TV...it really looks good. I'm a little biased though, I used to live down the street from Stipe when I was in school in Athens. They've been one of my favorite bands since I was in middle school (33 now).
