I have an incredibly hard time finding clothes that I enjoy wearing. Mostly because I think I should dress like a ancient Persian emporer king and not like a 21st century guy.

My favorite pair of jeans are basically dead. Giant, gaping holes in both knees and the bottom of the legs started tearing away. Every time I move something in them tears. There's a hole in the crotch. There's a hole on the butt area.

I have some other jeans but they are a different fit. I'd either have to wear them at the level of my navel with a belt (which I find restricting and uncomfortable) or wear them at the waist (as with my current jeans, as I prefer) and fold up the bottoms because otherwise they would be too long. I'm not too pleased with how they would look, since the butt pocket area would droop lower than my actual butt, and the knee area slack would be too far down, and folding up the bottoms of jeans seems kind of dorky.

Should I do it? Or should I keep wearing these pants that are basically melting off of my skin? I like having 'outfits' that I stick to for days, sometimes weeks at a time. I don't change my clothes regularly. I like to feel comfortable and stay comfortable.

Help me, Smiley Smile. I'm in a pants crisis.

The pants discussed in the OP were four or five years old. I just changed out of them. Now have on some dark blue jeans. I think they're Wrangler or something like that, but I got them from Walmart months ago. The other pants were light blue. Not sure how I'm liking the dark blue at the moment but maybe I'll grow to like them.

Why would you change your pants so late?

I hadn't taken them off in two weeks. Plus, they ripped at the bottom of the leg a few hours ago, leaving a piece trailing on the ground like my shadow wherever I went.

I sleep with my clothes on, so I never really take my pants off.

You shouldn't sleep with your clothes on. It makes you more prone to pimples and your sheets get dirty.

Nonsense. I have beautiful, pimple-free skin and my sheets are fine.

I'm more comfortable sleeping with my clothes on. Usually I take off any shirts I have on, but leave my pants - belt and all - on. Doing this I can roll right outta bed and begin the day without much hopping around into pants. Plus, it gives my lady something to be desirous of

nobody, get yourself a few crisp shirts, wash them once in a while, and worry about better things than clothes.

Invest in some nice pants and take them to a tailor

You may also wish to consider adding something to this board rather than just posting absolute pointless crap in the hopes that someone somewhere might give you a little attention. BTW, how's that whole keeping-your-pants-on-while-sleeping thing working with the ladies?
